Home / Perception
Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes..
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes..
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills..
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills;
He thinks in secret, and it comes to pass;
Environment is but his looking-glass.

Much of our lives are based on our perceptions or beliefs. Perception can present us with opportunity or conceal it from us. We make choices daily based on our perceptions of people, places, things and events and those choices steer our lives.

Perceptions can be based on fact or opinion, either way they create our individual and collective realities. Why do we perceive the way we do and why do things happen the way they do? What sets of proofs do we require before we accept an idea or opinion as “fact”? What sets of criteria define a “fact” versus an “opinion”?

Some obvious questions about life and humanity will be posed here that, to the best of my knowledge, have not yet been answered satisfactorily. The purpose of posing them is simply to make you think of possibilities and to incite you and help you explore more on your own.

The seven known senses that humans are known to posses are: Sight, Sound, Taste, Touch, Smell, Intuition, Telepathy. The first 5 are well known to most people unless they’ve been born without them, the last 2 are less well known but play similar roles in our individual and collective perceptions.

Intuitions are the innate drives within us to self-preserve ourselves or those around us, react effectively to danger or to simply “know” things without actually consciously learning them first, to “tap into” the universal conscious energy and extract precisely what we need.

Telepathy is the conscious or subconscious ability to communicate with other beings without using speech, written or recorded language or physical proximity or movement to communicate an idea, desire or concept. This form of communication is accomplished solely through consistent and extremely focused thought between one or more living things.

These senses are less well known because few people are taught to accept and develop them. Despite the proofs shown in psychology and scientific experiments we are still taught today that these senses are only available to the exceptional or abnormal among us, but this simply is not true. These senses and abilities are available to everyone at anytime.
